The EGI OH SEARCH 3.5 is a jig designed for prospecting and targeting active cephalopods. This model is equipped with a rattling system, with components specifically selected to produce a vibration of around 600Hz, which is the most effective frequency to attract the attention of squids and cuttlefish. It stands out from other models with its flat sides that provide more rolling action and a small excrescence on its back (Strobe Fin), which generates flashing light during animations. These features allow it to be seen and heard from a great distance.
The EGI OH SEARCH range is equipped with two eyes that have a phosphorescence wavelength of 490 nm, corresponding to the most perceivable light spectrum for cephalopods. This series uses NEON BRIGHT technology, featuring colors with UV blue, green, or red bodies (the three primary colors of light), providing a wide range of light wavelengths in the water. By matching the reflection color to the water's color, the jig's reflection becomes more noticeable and increases the predation instinct of cephalopods. UV blue is suited for clear waters and bright light, UV green is ideal for murky waters, and UV red is generally most effective in low light, such as early mornings or evenings. The 3.5 size has a descent speed of approximately 2.8 seconds per meter.
