The Flap Slap is a relatively high flat sided crankbait that displaces a lot of water while producing high frequency vibrations that attract predators from a distance. The balance of the lure along the lower part of its body generates a marked rolling action that emits consistent flashes similar to those of a much larger lure to imitate fleeing prey. This highly responsive lure is easy to work and starts moving as soon as the crank is turned. During pauses in the action, the lure slowly rises through the water, maintaining a natural pendulum action that encourages predators to attack. The Flap Slap moves at depths of up to 1.60m and can be used for regular linear animation, punctuated by pauses or jerks.
